The project is part of Governor Chadchart Sittipunt’s policy to ensure health equity in schools. Sanitary pads are required by every menstruating person, yet many face barriers to access, leading to absence from school classes or work. Research indicates that individuals experiencing period poverty are at a higher risk of moderate to severe depression. The survey also found that menstrual products were a financial burden for students.
We recognize the issue of period poverty and are committed to addressing this essential basic need for menstruating students by launching the "Free Sanitary Pad Pilot Project." To alleviate the difficulties in accessibility to menstrual products and reduce related health risks, Well Field Corporation Co., Ltd. and its employees place great importance on social responsibility activities and have joined forces to support the "Free Sanitary Pads Pilot Project." The management team donated 2,600 pieces of sanitary pads at the Khlong San District Office in Bangkok for distribution to schoolgirls in the Khlong San district.
The project not only aligns with the company's policy on corporate social responsibility activities but also encourages employee participation in sharing and fostering social responsibility.
